Fresh Garden Flowers with Gluten Free Biscuits from my oven.


 I have had a busy day today.  A sunshine day inspire me to get busy in the house and garden.  I love those flowers.  Bright colours of cosmos, zinnia, dahlia and more.  I do enjoy having flowers to pick.  I'm sure the rain has resulted in these beautiful flowers doing so well.  I have never had such a prolific garden.

I wanted to make these gluten free chocolate chip biscuits.  I used a basic recipe but I altered it to produce a gluten free biscuit. I'm finding that if I add an egg it helps the final outcome.  I also increase the Baking Powder or other raising agent.  Its all a bit hit and miss but I have had some good results.  Which encourages me.  Forgot to say, I use gluten free flour to replace the ordinary baking flour. Obvious really!

  1. I've thoroughly enjoyed picking those summer flowers. So beautiful to gather and place on our breakfast bar for a few days enjoyment before they tire and start to wilt.
