Fabric Collage - having a go!



 Here we are with a photo of some work on a fabric collage.

Small pieces of  interactive fabric along with some pieces of lace.  All  put together with fancy stitches and here it is.

In reality I think it does look better than the photo shows here.

I am encouraged to try fabric collage again.  I have started another piece which is  looking okay.  The good thing is you can cover areas that are not that great.  I think that is what I will do with mine.

Beautiful colour on a rock

 I am inspired by nature.  The colour of this  lichen a strong mustard  shade   is worth a second look.  Nature gives us much to be appreciated as this photo shows. I would love to have a selection of threads in this colour. That would really be special.

  We travelled to Mt. Cook yesterday.  What began as a cloudy morning opened up to a beautiful clear day.  The sun is streaming into my photo.  A majestic New Zealand Mountain called Mount Cook with snow stands out in all its beauty.  Awesome!
